Project BRIEF
A focus on colour and shape as we refined the spacious Bavaria 43 Sport. With exclusive textiles and carpets combined with an updated colour scheme, we renewed the boat.
SEVERAL SHADES OF GREY
The owner wanted to raise the comfort level and increase the "cosiness factor" in his relatively bare Bavaria 43 Sport. We installed new exclusive carpets in a sober grey colour scheme. In the saloon, the sofa with the outdated faux leather was replaced with a coarser textile and then combined with a custom built in marble and stainless steel. In all cabins we reupholstered the bed and wall textiles to get a softer and warmer impression. In the cockpit, all cushions are reupholstered to new functional cushions made in Silvertex.
FOCUS ON KITCHEN
The previous owner of the boat had made interventions in the kitchen, we restored these while we customised the frames to be able to install a new microwave. Furthermore, the kitchen doors were foiled in light grey and the countertop got a complementary "back-splash" in the same marble as the table. The result was a kitchen that harmonised with the rest of the boat's new colour scheme and style. One thing was missing - a dishwasher, but where would it fit? So we built a new cabinet in the guest cabin and installed the dishwasher there, just an arm's length away from the newly renovated kitchen.
NO REFIT WITHOUT TECHNICAL UPDATES
The list of technical updates is long. We installed Zipwake, new speaker system, new underwater lighting, updated navigation equipment, installed new windlass in stern from anchormatic to name a few of the highlights.
